Excursion to El Fayum from Cairo Visiting the Valley of Whales and the Water Falls of Wadi El Rayan. At 7:00 am the Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to enjoy the famous sites in Fayoum. From Cairo to Fayum almost 95 km. We will start our trip to the Protected area of Wadi Hitan (Valley of the Whales), about 90 km from Fayum. Wadi Hitan or Valley of the Whales is located in the protected area of Wadi El Rayan and are designated by UNISCO as a World Heritage Site in recognition of the whale skeletons dating back 40 million years found there. On the way to Wadi El Rayan and its Water Falls, visit Mudawara (round) Mountain. Then to the Wadi Al Ryan Waterfalls. Wadi El Rayan is a natural depression located in the western desert, 42 m below sea level. Wadi Rayan consists of two lakes connected by Egypt's only waterfalls, formed in 1970 by an overflow of drainage waters from the lands cultivation in Fayum. Then Lunch will be served in a good quality restaurant. After Transfer back to Cairo.
